Tesimag vertical pumps are centrifugal pumps with vertical axis consisting essentially by suction strainer, impeller and pump body. The suction strainer has the function of conveying the fluid harmonically , without vortices and speed steps, to the entrance of the impeller. The open type impeller, generally coated with with wear-proof elastomer can also be realized in other materials according to the needs. The impeller is hydraulically and dynamically balanced and the blade profile is designed particularly to provide high performance. The pump body is made withhigh quality cast iron and it is entirely covered with elastomer. The shaft line consists of a single section. A specially-built joint allows easy decoupling even after a long period of operation and maximum safety operation. The shaft line is guided by rolling bearings, housed into special supports made in quality cast iron. The motor frame is a single piece with the pump support andit has wide windowsgiving access to the coupling joint.
